United States Coast Guard – Construction Inspection Services in Charleston, SC

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Facilities Design and Construction Center (FDCC) requires construction inspection services for the project Design/Build Construction for Home‐Porting National Security Cutter (NSC) #9 & #10 at USCG Base Charleston, Charleston, SC. The scope of work for the design and construction is to make improvements to Pier Papa to accommodate two new NSCs, enclose the existing Boat Maintenance Building, construct a storage building, construct a HAZMAT pharmacy building, and make grading and paving improvements to the boat maintenance area.

CSS is providing Construction Inspection Services to ensure compliance with all contract documents and to inform the Contracting Officer if the requirements are not being met. CSS scope of work includes review, analysis, and providing recommendations on cost estimates and time/schedule impact of potential changes; daily, weekly and monthly inspection reports, field tests, as well as monitoring submittals. Construction Support Solutions is also tasked with review and  of all contract requirements in order to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
