Phased construction was required to remove, reconfigure and resurface more than 1,000,000 square feet of parking lots at Major General Emmett J. Bean Federal Center. As an approved General Services Administration (GSA) Contract Holder, Construction Support Solutions provided Construction Manager as Agent services, including: development and maintenance of integrated project schedule, oversight and review of the Contractor’s schedule, daily on-site inspection, monthly status reports, claims management, change order management, project safety and all associated contract administration duties.

Construction Support Solutions is managing the project toward the goal of improving drainage, aesthetics, traffic safety and circulation throughout the parking lot – while maintaining its use for more than 4,500 tenants who work at Bean Federal Center.

Total Square Footage: 1,070,000 square feet of new asphalt pavement, 77,000 square feet (3.6 miles) of new sidewalks, 13,000 linear feet (2.5 miles) of new storm sewer, 34,000 square feet of underground detention basins, 47,000 square feet of aboveground detention basins, 40,000 square feet of bioswales.
