SCOPE

This project involved the replacement of the outdated SpiderAlert system with the Elpas officer/man-down real-time locating system (RTLS) in ODRC prison facilities. The implementation of the new system, Elpas, occurred in phases throughout the ODRC prison facilities. The initiative represented the final phase of installation, covering the following facilities:

• Belmont Correctional Institution (BECI)
• Dayton Correctional Institution (DCI)
• Grafton Correctional Institution (GCI)
• Marion Correctional Institution (MCI)
• Noble Correctional Institution (NCI)

• Richland Correctional Institution (RICI)
• Southeastern Correctional Institution (SCI)
• North Central Correctional Complex (NCCC)

SERVICES

CSS is currently engaged in providing cost estimating services throughout the construction phase documentation process. The ongoing task involves carefully pricing the electrical infrastructure required for the SpiderAlert system across 102 unique locations within 12 distinct facilities.
In fulfilling this responsibility, we are committed to delivering a detailed estimate for each location. The estimate is thoughtfully broken down, providing a comprehensive breakdown across the various buildings specified in the current architectural plans. Our objective is to meet and exceed expectations, ensuring precision and clarity in our estimations for the seamless integration of the SpiderAlert system across these multifaceted facilities.
